Old South Outreach

Old South Outreach is a bunch of volunteers who want to help others, especially those struggling to help themselves.  We find people and non-profits who are in need and use our talents and resources to help.  We have built wheelchair ramps, landscaped yards, repaired things that are broken, and in general have worked hard to repair, restore and encourage.  We are a non-profit wanting to make a difference in peoples lives because we follow Jesus. Our Purpose

  • to love our neighbors as ourselves

  • to reach out to those who can't help themselves

  • to model, lead and teach the next generation how to give back using skills and life lessons that equip them to be big givers and hard workers

So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

Let our people learn to devote themselves to good works, so as to help cases of urgent need, and not be unfruitful.

From the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; being strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy; giving thanks to the father who has qualified you to share in the inhertance fo the saints in light. 

Coll 1:9-12

Give and it will be given to you.  Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap.  For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.

But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love able in him?  Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.  By this we shall know that we are of the truth and reassure our heart before him;
